Designs by Lucinda Pins
to benefit the shelter for homeless women
and families in the Twin Ports.
Each pin costs $16, of which $8 is tax deductible. (HHCS will issue a tax-deductible receipt upon request.)
Pins may be ordered and mailed to you for an extra $2.50 shipping and handling.
HHCS has some pins in stock. All pins are unique and different, with no two pins exactly alike.
Designs include crosses, flowers, hearts with houses, and butterflies.
With a few exceptions most of the pins can be worn as a pin or as a charm on a necklace (necklace chains are not included.

Harbor House Crisis Shelters' (HHCS) mission is to provide hospitable shelter, transitional living and services for homeless
women and families. Our goal is to assist our guests in attaining services and housing.
HHCS serves the Twin Ports Area with a focus on Douglas County. All potential guests are sheltered based on the availability of beds.
The following categories are suitable guests at HHCS:
Single woman with no children or has lost custody of children.
Mother with minor children (under age 18).
Father with minor children (under age 18).
Married adults with minor children (under age 18).
Adult female with legal custody of minor children (under age 18).
Adult male with legal custody of minor children (under age 18).
HHCS does not shelter single men, except as noted above. Single males mat access homeless services through Solid Rock Safe Haven.
HHCS provides services to qualified persons (i.e. meeting our admission criteria) without regard to race, color, ancestry,
national origin, religion, gender, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical conditions, sexual orientation
or age, to the extent covered by law.
HHCS reserves the right to deny entry without cause. If denied, HHCS will refer to other appropriate shelter or agency for assistance.
Our Programs
Harbor House Crisis Shelters (HHCS) receive referrals from social service
agencies, law enforcement officials, and community organizations. Referrals
are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Referrals can be made
Monday through Friday from 9am until 4pm.
Our programming requires all adult guests, over age 17, receive case
management, which includes housing counseling, budget counseling, parenting
classes, health and welfare classes, and community workshops. HHCS also offer
intern counseling, transportation assistance, and other programs as funding
permits.
HHCS' program has been designed to empower, educate, and support our guests.
All services are offered on-site or transportation is provided.
Harbor House Crisis Shelters also offer a Transitional Living Program for
homeless families and single women who need supportive housing assistance.
This program is designed to provide affordable housing while providing case
management.
